Guava is a fruit that is not anyway less healthy than an apple. If eating an apple a day can keep the doctor away, so does the guava. It is rich in multiple nutrients, vitamins and minerals that promote overall good health. If you are looking for skin benefits in particular, applying it directly onto the skin can certainly give you results more quickly.

# Guava, banana and honey


Take half of a medium sized guava and half of a banana. Smash the two together in a blender to prepare a smooth paste. No need to go for the cumbersome task of separating the seeds of guava. Finally add 1 spoon honey with the guava and banana paste and mix well.

Apply the resulting pack onto your cleansed face and neck, let it set for at least 20-30 minutes and then wash off rubbing your skin slowly with your wet hands. You should use this pack daily at least at the beginning to get noticeable results quickly.

# Guava leaves and tomato

Take 8-10 guava leaves and wash them clean. Add 1/2 of a tomato with it and blend well together. Apply the resulting pack onto your face and neck and leave on for 15 minutes. Then slowly rub your face with damp hands and finally wash off with plenty of water.

# Guava and oatmeal

Take 1/2 of a fresh guava and 2 spoons of oatmeal. Blend the two together to make a smooth paste. Massage your well-cleansed skin lightly with this pack and then apply it evenly onto the face. Leave on for 20 minutes and then wash off with plenty of water.

# Guava and egg

Take half of a guava and smash it in a blender to make a smooth paste. Take an egg, break it and whip it until it becomes frothy. Finally add the egg with the guava paste and blend well. Your skin tightening anti-aging pack is ready now.

Apply the resulting pack onto your face and neck in an even layer. Let it get completely dry and then first soak it with a wet washcloth and then only wash off with plenty of water. If the smell of the raw egg seems to be difficult to tolerate, you can add a few drops of sandalwood essential oil to the pack, which will also give added anti-aging benefits.

# Guava leaves, turmeric and neem

Collect 12-15 fresh guava leaves and fresh neem leaves in the same number. Wash them clean and soak in plain water overnight. In the morning remove the water and blend the softened leaves to make a smooth paste. Add 1 spoon of turmeric paste prepared from turmeric root to this mixture.

First massage your clean skin lightly with the prepared pack and then apply it all over in a generous layer. Let it set for 15-20 minutes and then wash off with water and pat dry. Follow with a non-oily moisturizer only if required.
