Anushka Sharma refuses to choose between Netflix and Amazon

Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan will be coming together for the first time in the much talked about film Sui Dhaaga – Made In India. Set against the backdrop of the small town Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh, the unconventional film talks about the journey of a tailor and embroiderer. Quite obviously, the film has created enough anticipation with a powerful pair as leads and also the extensive promotions that kick started over a month ago.

Recently, when the film’s main actors, Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan came together for an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama, they revealed their sporting side as they decided to try out some interesting segments with us. One of them was a segment called ‘Either’ or ‘Or’ where the actors were asked to choose from the options they were given. The first question in the segment was where the Sui Dhaaga – Made In India actress had to choose between two leading streaming sites, Amazon and Netflix. Well, not only was she caught up by a surprise but she was also put in a dilemma.

Speaking on the same, Anushka Sharma said, “It’s a very difficult to choose one because we do our deals and produce films on both these sites. I don’t want to pick one and upset the other.” As Anushka continued, Varun was quick to add that ‘it was an honest answer’. So, I am not going to choose either because yeh aamdani ki baat hai [because it is about remuneration].”

Well, we would definitely like to agree with Varun Dhawan on the answer. Not only did Anushka handle the question appropriately but also with utmost honesty. Way to go girl!

Coming to Sui Dhaaga – Made In India, the film features Anushka Sharma as Mamta who is an embroiderer. She is the wife of Mauji aka Varun Dhawan who essays the character of a tailor. The film, considering that it is a tribute to Indian craftsmen and embroiderers will be releasing this week, before Gandhi Jayanthi, on September 28.
