Who Is Prabal Gurung? Karan Johar’s Rumoured Boyfriend

Karan Johar made headlines today alongside fashion designer Prabal Gurung, who shared a cozy picture with the filmmaker on social media with a suspicious caption. However he quickly cleared the dating rumours by releasing a statement, confirming he is not dating Karan Johar.

Prabal first shared a post on Instagram that read, “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. Happy birthday KJo.” It quickly spiked rumours of the two dating. The new York based Fashion Desginer is a Nepalese-American, known for his presence at Cannes, The Prabal Gurung brand worn by names like Isha Ambani to Nicki Minaj to Oprah Winfrey.

He also designed, Deepika Padukone’s infamous crimson Atelier Prabal Gurung gown that she donned for her 2018 Mat Gala appearance.

Born in Singapore the designer grew up in Kathmandu, Nepal and studied at the New Delhi’s Institute of Fashion Technology. He launched his first eponymous collection during New York Fashion Week in February 2009, with a presentation at the FLAG Art Foundation.

He also has an amazing presence on social media and everyone in fashion known who Prabal Gurung. With more than 685k followers on his company account and 63k followers on his personal account he is the most woke person in fashion.
