* Honey Cough syrup

Ingredients:


Honey-8 teaspoon
Lemon-4 teaspoon

Method

- Honey and lemon are antibiotics and help to soothe the throat.

- Mix honey and lemon together for a simple and natural cough syrup.

- 1 spoon of this syrup has to be consumed when required.

* Thyme tea

Ingredients:


Thyme leaves- 2 spoons
Honey- 1 spoon
Lemon- few drops

Method

- Thyme tea can be made by steeping around 2 spoons of crushed thyme leaves in one cup of boiling water for 10 minutes.

- Strain it and add lemon and a few drops of honey for flavor and also to add that extra dose of soothing for the throat.

* Turmeric Cough tonic

Ingredients:


1 tbsp Honey
1tsp Black Pepper
1tsp Turmeric

Method

- You can make this tea by taking freshly ground pepper, turmeric along with honey in a cup.

- Fill it with boiling water and allow it to steep, cover it for 15 minutes.

- Afterwards strain it and sip it or a simple remedy is to try the turmeric milk that is not only healthy but also delicious.

* Ginger tea

- To make this tea, cut a ginger into small pieces as per requirement and crush them. Put it in a cup of water and boil it well.

- This herbal tea is ready and needs to be consumed 3 to 4 times every day until you get relief from cough.

- You can also chew raw ginger through the day to get relief from cough and cold.

* Garlic drink

Ingredients:


Garlic- 3 cloves
Honey – 1 spoon

Method

- To make this drink, all you need to do is take 2 to 3 cloves of garlic and boil it in a cup of water.

- Add a teaspoon of oregano to it.

- Let it cool to room temperature and then add a dash of honey and sip it in.

- This drink will help to clear the congestion in the throat and reduce cough.
