It is also a UNESCO site. This temple, situated about 5 km north-eastern direction from Kathmandu, is in the middle of many mountains, due to which the atmosphere here becomes very captivating. This temple built in Devapatan village was considered the main residence of the saffron Pashupatinath before Nepal became a nation.
