Buddhnath Stupa -

Located about 11 km from the city of Kathmandu, people come from far and wide to see this stupa. Its shape becomes the center of attraction for the people, in fact it is a giant circular stupa. Pashupatinath Temple-

The Bagmati river is special in itself but this temple makes it more special. The width of this temple of spiritual importance is so much that it is extended from both sides of this river. It is also a UNESCO site. This temple, situated about 5 km north-eastern direction from Kathmandu, is in the middle of many mountains, due to which the atmosphere here becomes very captivating. This temple built in Devapatan village was considered the main residence of the saffron Pashupatinath before Nepal became a nation.

Thamel-

How to visit Kathmandu

Kathmandu is served by the Tribhuvan International airport, which is the only international airport in the Country. It is connected by flights from all over the world via the 30 international airlines that operate there. Domestically the airport is also connected by airlines such as Buddha Air, Nepal Airlines, Cosmic Air and many more. It is now possible to fly directly from Amsterdam and Istanbul to Kathmandu through airfly and Turkish Airlines respectively.

The nearest airport is the Tribhuvan International airport which is located approximately six kilometres away from the Kathmandu city centre.
