Make Diwali Meets Healthy With Apple Sandwiches

Diwali is here and you all might be excited about Diwali meets too. So, this Diwali Meet, make it healthier with Yummy Apple Sandwiches.

Ingredients

Apple, medium1
Oats, rolled20 gm
Honey2 tbsp
Cinnamon powder1/8 tsp
Raisins 1 gm
Almonds, chopped10 gm
Walnut, chopped10 gm
Flax seeds1 tsp

Method

# Combine all the ingredients except Apple and Honey in a dry skillet over medium heat and toast, stirring occasionally, until the oats are golden. Cool before using.

# Add honey to this mixture after cooled and mix well.

# Core and slice the apple into 4 rounds. (If you don't have an apple corer, you can slice the apple first and then cut out the centers with a small cookie cutter or knife.)

# Spread the mixture on 2 of the apple slices top with the remaining apple slices to form sandwiches.
