* Tea Bags

The tannic acid in tea bags helps reduce the burning sensation and any inflammation on the legs. All you need to do is gently press a moistened tea bag over the razor burns. Let it stay for 5-10minutes and then wash your skin with cold water. Repeat this several times in a day for faster healing.

* Apple Cider Vinegar

The high acidic content in apple cider vinegar will help prevent any infections and soothe inflamed skin. Dilute the vinegar in water and pat it on the affected areas with a soft cloth or cotton ball. Let the cloth or ball rest for 10 minutes on the area before washing it off with water. Repeat this process 2-3 times a day for best results.

* Aloe Vera

The most beneficial medicinal herb available, Aloe Vera gel contains anti-inflammatory properties that speed up the healing process. They also soothe any razor burns and bumps effectively. Remove the gel of an Aloe Vera leaf and rub it on the affected areas. Let it stay till it dries and then wash it off with water. You can do this 2-3 times a week to get rid of them.

* Lemon Juice

Lemons are rich in citric acid that acts as a natural astringent and dries up the shaving burns and bumps. Squeeze the lemon juice from three lemons and mix it with water. Using a cotton ball, apply the lemon juice on the affected areas and let it dry for 10-15 minutes. Rinse it off with water. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times a day for an effective outcome.

* Tea Tree Oil


Loaded with anti-bacterial, antiseptic properties, tea tree oil is very beneficial in soothing razor burns and bumps. They also help in reducing swelling and burning sensations. Dilute a few drops of tea tree oil in 50ml of water and using a cotton ball dab it on the areas affected. Rinse with cold water and repeat this 2-3 times for quicker healing.
