6-Step Facial Massage Routine That You Can Follow to Ensure Glowing Skin

Facial massage is renowned for enhancing blood circulation within the facial muscles. This practice, rooted in Ayurveda, has long served as a therapeutic remedy for diverse ailments. Mira Rajput Kapoor, wife of Shahid Kapoor, advocates the significance of facial massage in achieving radiant skin. She has even posted a video on her YouTube channel demonstrating facial massage techniques. Here's a six-step facial massage routine to help you attain luminous skin.

# Skin Preparation

Prior to initiating the facial massage, it's crucial to prep the skin. Begin by securing your hair in a bun and thoroughly cleansing your face with lukewarm water. Optionally, indulge in facial steaming to open up pores and facilitate oil absorption. Then, apply a suitable face serum and delicately pat it onto your skin.

# Forehead Massage

Commence the massage by focusing on the forehead area. Position your index and middle fingers at the center of your forehead and execute circular motions towards the temples. Repeat this gentle process five times, ensuring a slow pace.

# Eye Area

Given the delicate nature of the eye region, exercise caution during massage. Using your ring finger, start from the inner corner and gently move outward, then glide upward towards the eyebrows. Repeat this motion five times with a light touch.

# Cheek Area

Direct your attention to the cheeks, beginning near the nose. Employ a gentle upward motion towards the cheekbones, then outward towards the ears, ensuring an uplifting motion. Repeat this process five times for each cheek.

# Mouth and Lips

Create a 'V' shape with your index and middle fingers and delicately place them around your lips. With your index finger, gently push towards your ears while massaging slowly. Repeat this motion five times to rejuvenate the mouth and lip area.

# Chin and Jawline

Initiate the massage at the midpoint of your chin and proceed to massage upward towards the jawline using your fingers. Execute this uplifting motion to promote toning and firmness. Repeat the process several times to cover the chin and jawline effectively.
