Its a Catfight Between Kangana Ranaut and Sonam Kapoor Over Vikas Bahl

The ever so opinionated Sonam K Ahuja is known to be vocal about ongoing issues. She has also been among the few celebrities who have extended support to Tanushree Dutta. Recently at the, Vogue We the Women conclave in Bengaluru she talked about the Me Too movement in Bollywood.

Earlier we reported of Kanagan Ranaut stating in an interview that during the filming of Queen, Vikas Bahl used to boast about having casual sex with a new partner every day. She also voiced her support for the woman who accused Vikas Bahl of assaulting her in Goa during a promotional event of Bombay Velvet.

Taking it as a part of the panel discussion at the conclave, when Barkha Dutt asked Sonam if people from the industry will take a stand against Vikas Bahl, the actress commended Kangana for taking a stand on issues and for speaking up. She said, “Kangana being Kangana Ranaut, she says a lot of stuff. Sometimes, it’s hard to take her seriously, but I love the fact that she has spunk and she says what she believes in.”

But it seems like the comment didn’t go well with Kangana and in a report by Pinkvilla stated that Sonam has no right to judge her and say things like ‘it is hard to take Kangana seriously sometimes’. Kangana said, “What does she mean by saying, “it’s hard to believe Kangana” When I am sharing my me too story, who gives her a right to judge me? So, Sonam Kapoor has the license of trusting some women and some she won’t…What makes her so unsure of my claims, I am known to be an articulate person, I have represented my country in many international summits, I am called as a thought and youth influencer to these summits, I am not known because of my dad I have earned my place and credibility after struggling for a decade.”

The actress further stated, “She isn’t known to be a great actress, neither has she had the reputation of being a good speaker…… What gives these filmy people right to take digs at me!!!! I will demolish each one of them.”
