Recipe- Healthy To Eat Oats Raisins Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup quick cooking oats
3/4 cup whole wheat flour or maida
1/2 cup butter soft
3/4 cup powdered sugar can use up to 1 cup
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt

Method

- Preheat oven at 180C for 15 minutes. Cream butter and sugar together very well until creamy. Add vanilla and mix well.

- Add all the other ingredients and bring together like a dough. Add 1-2 tablespoons milk if the mixture refuses to bind. Fold in the raisins and mix gently.

- Divide the dough into 25-28 equal sized balls and press slightly.

- Arrange in cookie sheet and bake till the edges turn slightly brown for about 12-15 minutes. The cookies may appear soft after 15 minutes, but on cooling they will turn crispy.

- Store oats cookies airtight and serve as needed.
