Recipe- Mouthwatering Spinach and Cheese Rolls

These Spinach and Cheese Rolls are so tasty that you will never be able to settle with just one or two or even three. Being a crowd pleasing appetizer, these are a perfect snack option for any evening party and can also go on your list for a kitty party menu. Spinach makes this healthy and the cheese makes this tasty; making this a perfect roll for everyone.

Ingredients

2 cups spinach, chopped
1 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
2 cubes cheese, grated
2-3 green chilli, crushed
2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
2 tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp maida
2 tbsp bread crumbs
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp amchur powder
¼ tsp pepper powder (optional)
½ garam masala
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
For batter (maida +water)
Bread crumbs as required

Method

* In bowl, mix all the above ingredients except oil and batter mixture.

* If the mixture is wet and sticky after mixing, add more bread crumbs to it and mix well.

* Apply some oil on your palms and divide the mixture into equal portions.

* Roll the portion in your palms and make it into a cylindrical shape.

* Mix maida and water to make batter in bowl and set aside.

* Dip each cylindrical shaped portion in the batter and coat them evenly.

* Apply bread crumbs evenly on the coated batter.

* Heat the oil for deep frying on medium flame.

* Gently slide the rolls into the oil and deep fry from all the sides till golden brown and crisp.

* Remove and transfer it on an absorbent paper to remove the excess oil from it.

* Serve hot with chutney or ketchup or yogurt dip.
