Recipe - Delicious and Easy Chinese Style Veg Hakka Noodles

Ingredients

1 pack of Hakka noodles (200 grams)
1 tablespoon oil
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1-inch piece of ginger, grated
1 onion, sliced
1 capsicum, sliced
1 carrot, julienned
1/4 cabbage, shredded
2 green chilies, sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon chili sauce
Salt, to taste
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
1 teaspoon vinegar

Method

- Boil the Hakka noodles as per the instructions on the packet. Once boiled, rinse them under cold water and set them aside.

- Heat the oil in a wok or a pan and add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Saute for a minute or until the garlic is lightly browned.

- Add the sliced onion and saute for a minute. Then add the sliced capsicum, julienned carrot, and shredded cabbage. Cook for a few minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened but still retain their crunchiness.

- Add the sliced green chilies, soy sauce, chili sauce, salt, black pepper powder, and vinegar. Mix well.
