Recipe - Know How to Cook Easy and Healthy Sweet Dish 'Chini Ka Paratha' At Home

Ingredients

For the dough:
2 cups Wheat flour
1/4 tsp Salt (optional)
1/4 cup Milk or curd
1/2 cup Water approx..
tbsp Ghee
For the filling:
1 tsp Sugar for each paratha
1/2 tsp Ghee for each paratha
1/2 cup Wheat flour for dusting
1 tsp ghee for each paratha

Instructions

- Take the flour in a bowl, add salt, milk, ghee and knead it into a dough using as much as water necessary.

- Once the dough is ready cover it with a wet muslin cloth and keep it aside for about 15 minutes.

- Divide the dough into a lemon size balls and with a rolling pin roll out the dough into about 4 to 5 inches diameter rounds. While rolling dust the dough with flour. But be careful as to use as little flour as possible, as dry flour makes paratha hard and rubbery.

- Spread half teaspoon of ghee on the paratha and in the center place a teaspoon of sugar.

- Take the edge and start pleating bringing the pleats to the center. Press the pleats at the center to secure it.

- Roll out the dough gently, dusting it with flour.

- Heat a tawa and place the rolled paratha on it. Add ghee all around on both the sides and press the paratha slightly. Cook until brown spots appear on both sides.

- Enjoy hot with garlic Chutney
