Moto G77 Power India Launch Confirmed for July 8; Price, Features, and Specifications Officially Revealed

Motorola is set to expand its G-series smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Moto G77 Power, scheduled for next week. The announcement follows the global debut of the standard Moto G77 earlier this year, which arrived with a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. Ahead of the Indian launch, the Lenovo-owned brand has officially disclosed the launch date, expected price segment, key specifications, colour options, and design details of the upcoming smartphone. Motorola has also confirmed that the handset will be available for purchase through Flipkart after its debut.

Moto G77 Power to Debut in India on July 8

Motorola has created a dedicated microsite for the Moto G77 Power, confirming that the smartphone will be unveiled in India on July 8. While the company has not announced the exact retail price, it has indicated through the promotional page that the device will be priced below Rs. 30,000, placing it firmly in the upper mid-range category.

The smartphone will be offered in three colour options—Black, Blue, and Red. Motorola says the device will feature Pantone-curated colour finishes paired with a premium vegan leather back panel, giving it a stylish and premium appearance.

Display and Battery Designed for Long-Lasting Performance

The Moto G77 Power features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smooth scrolling, responsive gaming, and an improved viewing experience. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, providing enhanced resistance against scratches and accidental drops.

One of the biggest highlights of the smartphone is its massive 7,000mAh battery. According to Motorola, the battery can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge under typical usage conditions, making it one of the largest batteries available in its segment.

Camera Setup Focuses on Photography and Selfies

For photography, the Moto G77 Power is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA-600 primary camera, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens for capturing wider scenes and landscapes.

On the front, Motorola has included a 32-megapixel selfie camera, designed to deliver detailed selfies and improved quality during video calls. The phone features a centrally positioned punch-hole cutout that houses the front-facing camera, contributing to its modern display design.

Built for Durability and Better Multimedia Experience

Motorola has also focused on durability by giving the Moto G77 Power a MIL-STD-810H-certified build, indicating that the device has been tested against various environmental conditions and durability standards.

For entertainment, the smartphone comes with dual stereo speakers enhanced by Dolby Atmos technology, along with Hi-Res Audio certification for an improved listening experience. Unlike many modern smartphones, Motorola has retained the 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing users to continue using wired audio accessories without an adapter.

Software and Update Commitment

The Moto G77 Power will ship with Android 16 out of the box, layered with Motorola's Hello UI. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will receive an upgrade to Android 17, ensuring users gain access to future software enhancements and security improvements.

How It Compares to the Standard Moto G77

Earlier this year, Motorola introduced the standard Moto G77 in international markets at a price of GBP 250 (approximately Rs. 31,700). That model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset and includes a 5,200mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging support.

The global Moto G77 also offers a larger 6.78-inch display, a 108-megapixel primary rear camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and runs on Android 16.

With a significantly larger battery, premium vegan leather finish, durable build, high-refresh-rate display, and competitive pricing under Rs. 30,000, the Moto G77 Power is expected to appeal to users looking for long battery life without compromising on everyday performance and multimedia features.
