How to Do a Pedicure at Home – Get Soft, Healthy and Glowing Feet

Beautifully groomed and feet speak volumes about your overall health. In our day-to-day hectic lifestyle, we often neglect to take care of our feet. Just imagine the amount of hard work our legs and feet do – be it walking, jogging, experiencing new shoe bites – the list goes on! Surely our feet need more care and attention than we tend to give them. So here we present you a step-by-step guide to a spa pedicure at home!

You will need:

- 2 tablespoon shampoo
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon glycerine
- Aloe vera gel
- Toothpaste
- Old toothbrush
- Hot water
- Nail Paint

Method:

Step 1: Start by getting rid of any nail paint residue on your nails with the help of a nail polish remover. Then trim your nails in the desired shape and length.

Step 2: Now wash your feet and pat them dry.

Step 3: Rub aloe vera get all over your feet for a good 5-10 minutes.

Step 4: Wipe your feet using a wet towel to cleanse it again.

Step 5: Now apply toothpaste on the nails of your feet and brush them using the toothbrush. This will make them clean and white as well as loosen all the dirt.

Step 6: Take some hot water in a tub and add the shampoo, baking soda, lemon and glycerine and mix well.

Step 7: Now dip your feet in it so that they are completely submerged. Let them stay for 20 minutes. Keep scrubbing in between with pumice stone or brush to remove dirt, dead skin, tan and give you visibly fairer feet.

Step 8: Pat your feet dry and apply your favourite moisturiser.

Step 9 :Lastly apply nail paint of your favourite colour.
