Biggest IT Raid In Kannada Film Industry! Yash, Sudeep, Shivarajkumar Come Under Scanner

Income Tax department officials raided homes of several Kannada stars including Yash, Sudeep, Shivarajkumar, Puneeth Rajkumar, KGF producer Vijay Kirgandur and others. The raid took place at 8 am. The reason behind the raid is still not known, but reports says that it is because of the accumulation of black money in the Kannada industry.

“Searches are being conducted on three prominent producers of the Kannada film industry,” the official said requesting not to be named. “And actors associated with these producers are also being searched at the moment,” the official said to Hindustan Times.

According to reports KGF has minted Rs 154 crore worldwide, within two weeks since its release. Yash starrer KGF became the biggest Kannada grosser of all-time. The IT officials are currently digging into assets of actor-producer Rockline Venkatesh since he has also been subjected to the raid. This raid is the being considered to be the biggest raid in the Kannada film industry till date.
