Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Erica Fernandes Reveals The Similarities Between Her And Prerna

Erica Fernandes, who will next be seen portraying the role of Prerna in upcoming reboot version of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, recently revealed the similarities she finds between her character on-screen and herself in real life. In an interaction with The Indian Express, Erica said, “I was a kid when Kasautii used to air on TV. I must have been busy with my books and cartoons. But yes, our parents used to watch it, and I remember seeing it on television. After I signed this project, I watched a couple of episodes to get a gist and feel of it.”

While revealing the similarities with her character, Erica said, “I completely relate to her. She is a strong and independent girl. She is also a multi-tasker like me. Prerna also believes in standing up for what’s right and pointing out the wrong. That’s an amazing quality in her.” Further about Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot, Erica quoted, “we are trying to make this our own show. Also, I must add that everything would be different in the storyline.”

After revealing Prerna, Ekta Kapoor released a promo of male lead character Anurag, played by Parth Samthaan. She also released a promo of the show in which she showed glimpses of Komolika’s character which is allegedly known to be played by Hina Khan.
