Wedding cakes with natural flowers are always very pretty and much easier to decorate -and obviously much cheaper too- than with sugar flowers. But there some risks and issues involved: those flowers must be edible or at least not injected with pesticides that can harm your health or (deadly) poison you and all your guests; the juice or fluids of their stems should not get inserted or mixed with your cake when you insert the flowers; natural flowers do not hold beautifully more than some hours, and therefore cannot be on the cake forever without looking dead or dull,... We will soon be teaching how to decorate wedding cakes. In one of our classes, we will be taking about natural flowers and how to deal with them.
