Swami Vivekananda, the holy and divine spirit needs no introduction. The global village knows him as a Hindu saint, a yoga guru, a philosopher, a teacher, a writer, and an extraordinary speaker.

No one can forget Swamiji’s first ever speech at the Parliament of World Religions in 1893 at Chicago, he started with a salutation saying “the sisters and brothers of America” and the hall filled with sounds of clapping. I think by addressing the people of the world as there brothers and sisters, he introduced and initiated the divine thought of ‘The Global Village’, where everyone is related to each other. * Karma Yoga

* Teachings of Swami Vivekananda
