On the driver's seat with only an undergarment on Ashutosh Kaushik, the winner of Bigg Boss 2 and Roadies 5.0 was dragged to Mumbai's Versova police station after he rammed his car and tried to escape from the scene. Ashutosh, who was also seen in movies like Zila Ghaziabad, Shortcut Romeo and Bhadaas, was detained Monday evening around 7pm on charges of drunk driving. Ashutosh banged his Hyundai Accent into the car of Dr Vineet Kumar Singh, at the Lokhandwala back road, but he was chased by Singh and a few bikers.
Singh said that he was going to Elixir gym at Oakland Park when he felt something hit his car. He signaled to Ashutosh, who was at the wheel, to stop, but he whisked away. Singh chased him as he turned towards MHADA Road in SVP Nagar. Sources say that people in the crowd wanted to hit him as the actor stepped out people were aghast to see him in his undergarments and it was a sorry sight. When contacted, Versova police admitted that they have a case of drunk driving and a medical test were done and Ashutosh was fined and released today.
