Recipe- Healthy for Breakfast Vegan Mango Avocado Smoothie

A healthy mango smoothie with avocado is a tropical smoothie recipe! This green avocado & mango flavored vegan shake is packed with healthy fats & vitamins. This 4- ingredient non-dairy smoothie is a great way to kick-start your day. Green Avocado is a wonder fruit. We often make Bagel Guacamole Sliders as a snack whenever we get bagels from Costco. While I have not grown up eating this superfood, I do like it today especially in smoothies. It does not just add texture to the drink but is also very healthy.

Ingredients

1 cup flax milk
1 avocado
1 mango
2 tbsp chia seeds soaked in 4 tbsp of water
1/2 tbsp red pepper jam optional
1/4 cup ice cubes

Method

- Before we begin making this healthy mango smoothie, soak chia seeds in water for 10 minutes.
- In a blender, add flax milk along with ice cubes.

- Then cut an avocado, remove the seed and scoop out the insides. Add this to the blender.

- Next, add mango.

- Now add the soaked chia seeds and any sweetener of your choice. I used red pepper jam. You can also skip adding sweetener if the mango is sweet enough. Blend until smooth.

- Serve this Mango shake immediately.
