Recipe- Make Your Evenings Great With Veggie Burger

Veggie Burger is one of my favorite food. Veggie Burgers has everything what I want, healthy and tasty. Veggie Burger can be made with chickpeas/Garbanzo beans, multigrain flour and veggies like carrot, capsicum, red bell pepper with nutty flavor. Satisfy your appetite with a great-taste and it’s easy to make and can be ready in less than 30 minutes. This meatless and eggless burgers are totally awesome. I think I’d rather have one than any cheeseburger at a restaurant.

1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
Salt
Black Pepper
½ tbsp Olive Oil
¼ cup Chopped Onions
¼ cup Chopped Capsicum and Red Bel Pepper (opt)
1 tbsp Oil

Other Ingredients

8-10 Burger Buns
Melted Butter
Veg Mayonnaise
Lettuce Leaves
Cheese Slice
Sliced Onions
Tomatoes Slices

Method

For The Cutlets

* Drain cooked chickpeas and take into a food processor. Add grated carrot, whole wheat flour, walnuts, garlic powder, red chili powder, black pepper powder, Italian seasoning, salt, olive oil, chopped coriander leaves and blend it well.

* If you are using a blender then blend it into small-small batches.

* Remove it into a bowl. Add chopped onion, capsicum, red bell pepper and mix it well. Now make 8-10 cutlets/patties from the prepared mixture.

* Heat a pan or griddle and place the patties on it. Apply little oil with brush or spray and cook both sides on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes or till brown colored. Keep aside.

How To Serve or Assemble

* Cut each burger bun horizontally into halve. Apply ½ tsp of butter on each half sides of the burger bun, then spread mayonnaise on the buttered side.

* Place the lower half of the bun on a clean, dry surface with the buttered-spread side facing up.
* Place a lettuce leaf, onion slices, tomato slices, prepared cutlet and cheese slice, then again place tomato-onion slice and cover with an upper half of the bun with the buttered–spread side facing down and press it lightly.

* Now your Veggie Burger is ready. You can serve Veggie Burger with ketchup, mustard sauce and side with French fries, fresh juice.
