Orchha wildlife sanctuary was established in 1994, & spreads around 45 square kilometers in area. This sanctuary is the treasure of wildlife in entire Madhya Pradesh. Approximately there are 200 bird species including black swan, white swan, peafowl, jungle bush quail, storks, owls, kingfishers, and collared scop owls at this wildlife sanctuary.
