# Ana Sagar Lake

Constructed by Maharaja Anaji between 1135 to 1150, Ana Sagar Lake is a famous man-made lake in Ajmer. The lake is named after its creator who is believed to be the ancestor of Maharaja Prithviraj Chauhan. The Mughal rulers made some modifications to the lake, turning it into a picturesque destination. Near the lake, there is a garden called Daulat Bagh, which was built by Emperor Jahangir. # Dhai Din Ka Jhopra

The ruins of Dhai Din Ka Jhopra are one of the best places in Ajmer to witness. One legend says that it was built in just two and a half days, and another says that it was named after a festival that lasts for two and a half days. The architecture was originally made as a Sanskrit college, but Mohammed Ghori captured Ajmer in 1198 and converted this building into an Islamic mosque.
