You can reach the North Johnstone River only by helicopter as it passes through the untouched rain forests and volcanic gorges which are a part of Palmerstone National Park in Northern Queensland. The rapids here are of the class IV-V category and you could take almost 4-6 days as you descend the river, while spending some time camping. # Çoruh River, Turkey

One of the fastest flowing rivers, the Coruh passes through the beautiful Kaçkar Mountains of far north-eastern Turkey.
