North East India is one of the most charming parts of the country. It combines the Seven Sister States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura.

This is a land of snow fed hills and lush green tea gardens. As comparatively less visited by tourists than the other Indian states, here you can relish a true vacation far from the madding crowd.

Arunachal Pradesh

Located at the north eastern tip of the country, this is the only Indian state where you can witness the four bug cats together; namely, the tiger, leopard, clouded leopard and snow leopard. It also consists of almost 500 species of birds.

To know about Mahayana Buddhism you can visit the second largest Asian monastery, the Tawang Monastery. Tawang is also known for six beautiful lakes, the War Memorial and the Craft Centre. Assam

Nagaland

Manipur

Meghalaya

Mizoram

This is a land of Blue Mountains, named after the Phawngpui mountains the highest peak of the state and is known to be the house of Gods. Start your trip with a visit to Tualchang, the largest Monolith of the state, made of stone blocks. The Sibuta Lung is a memorial depicting a story of real love and vengeance.

Tripura
