Ingredients

1 cup beaten rice (poha)
1/2 cup fresh curd (yogurt)
1/4 cup grated cucumber
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
2 tablespoons crushed roasted peanuts
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
Fresh pomegranate seeds for garnish
Freshly chopped green chilies (optional for a spicy kick)

- Rinse the beaten rice (poha) under running water for a minute or until it softens. Drain the water and set it aside.

- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened poha, fresh curd, grated cucumber, finely chopped coriander leaves, crushed roasted peanuts, and a pinch of salt and sugar.
