Recipe- Mouthwatering And Healthy Eggless Whole Wheat Ghee Cookies

Try these delicious whole wheat ghee cookies this festive season! These Indian cookies contain no egg and can be made with just 4 ingredients! Ghee cookies were a regular in our house. Mom got them from the bakery nearby on her way back while picking up the weekly groceries.

Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup vegan ghee melted
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt

Method
- In a mixing bowl, add ghee and castor sugar.
- Whisk till the sugar is dissolved.
- Sieve whole wheat flour and add to the bowl.
- Then add vanilla extract and salt.
- Mix everything together and form a soft dough.
- Using a measuring spoon (tablespoon) or a small cookie scooper, divide into equal balls and place them on the baking tray that is lined with parchment paper.
- Continue the same process for the remaining dough. There is no need to flatten the balls. Keep some distance between each ball.
- Preheat the oven at 360 degrees F. Bake these cookies for about 20-25 mins or until the base of the cookies turn brown.
- The baking time may vary from oven to oven so keep checking after 10 mins.
- Take them out of the oven and let it stand for 5 minutes. Then enjoy!
