Method

- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

- While the ice cream is churning, crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into small chunks.

- Once the ice cream reaches the desired consistency, add the crushed cookies to the churned mixture. Continue churning for another minute to evenly distribute the cookie chunks.

- Transfer the churned ice cream with cookie chunks into a freezer-safe container. Use a spatula to smooth the surface.

- Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

- When ready to serve, scoop the cookie and cream ice cream into bowls or cones and enjoy!

Tips:

- For a richer flavor, you can use half-and-half instead of whole milk.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar according to your taste preferences.
- Add extra crushed cookies on top of the ice cream as a delicious garnish.
