Ingredients

0.25 oz (by weight!) bees wax
1 oz almond oil
1 oz organic raw coconut oil
1/4 teaspoon of Rose Hip Seed Oil
1 packet of organic green tea

Method

* Add beeswax, almond oil and coconut oil in a double boiler. In this step, we need to melt all the ingredients. I will give you a tip below if you don’t have a double boiler.

* Melt everything in the double boiler.

* After all the oils are melted, open green tea bag. If you are using green tea leaves, you don’t need to do this step.

* Pour green tea in this oil mixture. Combine all ingredients.

* Wait for 10-15 minutes. Green tea extract will be absorbed by oils.

* Transfer the mixture in a clean container.

* Use a hand mixer to whip all ingredients. You need to obtain creamy consistency.

* Your homemade green tea face cream is ready.

So, you can use two pots for this purpose. First pot will be larger than the second pot. Fill the first pot with water. You can fill it until the half. Add all the oils in the second pot. Place this second pot inside the first pot. Put the first pot on stove. Mix ingredients in the second pot until everything melts. Melting ingredients is super simple even without double boiler.

How To Store

This is one of the common questions. Since we are using oils, you can store your homemade green tea face cream for a long time. I mean for about a month or two. And this is a long time for DIY cosmetic products.

But you need to be careful about storing. Try to keep you mixture in a clean container. Also, keep the container in dry and cool place away from direct sunlight.
