Twinkle Khanna Wishes Hubby Akshay Kumar On Birthday With "Simpsons" Touch

On the occasion of actor Akshay Kumar's 56th birthday today, his wife and author Twinkle Khanna shared a heartfelt message for him on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Twinkle posted two pictures. The first one is a playful animated image of herself with Akshay, reminiscent of the popular 'The Simpsons' characters Marge and Homer.

The second image is a genuine photograph of the couple, both of them radiating million-dollar smiles.

Twinkle captioned the post with affection, saying, "Happy birthday Mr. K! I love you more than Marge loves Homer ❤️."

For his 56th birthday, Akshay chose to celebrate in a spiritual manner. He visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, accompanied by his son Aarav and sister. Cricketer Shikar Dhawan also joined the celebration.

In terms of his professional commitments, Akshay had exciting news to share on Saturday as he announced the release date of 'Welcome 3.' Titled 'Welcome to the Jungle,' this much-anticipated comedy-drama is scheduled for release in December 2024. The star-studded cast includes Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, and Rajpal Yadav.

In October of this year, Akshay is set to release 'Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue,' a film based on the true-life events of the late Jaswant Singh Gill, who led India's first successful coal mine rescue mission. In the film, Akshay sports a turban resembling Gill's. The movie is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai.

In addition to these projects, Akshay Kumar has 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,' 'Housefull 5,' and the remake of 'Soorarai Pottru' in his pipeline, promising an exciting lineup of films for his fans.
