Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh Congratulate PM Modi On G20 Success, Call It 'Historic Moment For India'

India played host to this year's G20 Summit, and numerous celebrities extended their congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the summit's successful presidency. Among the first to convey his regards was Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, and now actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh have joined in.

On Tuesday, the dynamic duo from "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" took to their respective social media platforms to share a video from the G20 Summit and commended PM Modi for achieving this historic milestone.

Ranveer tweeted, "Heartiest congratulations to our Honourable PM @narendramodi ji for hosting a triumphant G20 Summit, uniting nations for a brighter future! One Earth. One Family. One Future."

Alia, too, described India's G20 presidency as a "proud moment" and wrote, "A historic moment for India… Congratulations to Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi ji for successfully hosting the G20 Summit. Such a proud moment to witness this monumental event that fosters unity between nations and bridges alliances for a better future."

She further added, "This summit is a testament to our country's leadership on the global stage!"

The G20 Summit, held under India's presidency, brought together some of the world's most prominent leaders who converged in India to participate in the event held at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi's renowned Pragati Maidan.

India's theme for its G20 presidency was 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,' which translates to 'One Earth One Family One Future.'
