The reason behind the sudden deletion of his posts remains unknown. Even his actress-daughter Sonam Kapoor expressed surprise when she noticed all the posts missing from his feed. She shared a screenshot of his page on her Instagram story, writing, "Dad!!??"

Speculations arose among fans, with some expressing concern, suggesting his account might have been hacked, while others speculated it could be a promotional stunt. Soon, the hashtag '#WhereIsAnilKapoor' started trending on social media.

He is also working on the movie "Fighter" with Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan, directed by Siddharth Anand, scheduled for a January 2024 release.
