The Salar Jung Museum is a fascinating museum dedicated to ancient Mughal architecture and is located on the bank of the river Salar. The museum was built by the renowned architect Syed Muhammad Zakir Hussain Bairat during the early 20th century. # National Rail Museum

The National Rail Museum at Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, features various exhibits on the fascinating history of British railways in India. The museum has been inaugurated on 1 March 1977. The concept for the museum arose out of the desire to preserve the heritage of the British Raj and display the wealth of Indian rail history. Various sections of Indian rail history are represented here, including the dawn of passenger steam ferrying, the golden era of Indian railways. There are two main sections in the National Rail Museum, namely the Working models of Indian railways and the Display units depicting the tracks of various Indian railroads. The collection of the working models of Indian railways comprises the impressive fleet of the Indian Railway Train, the diesel engines used in these trains, and the functional furniture used by the train crew.
