‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ Box Office Collection Day 4: Kangana Ranaut Starrer Sees Sharp Monday Crash, Earnings Slip Under ₹1 Crore

Kangana Ranaut’s latest release ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ faced a steep decline in its box office performance on its first Monday. Released on Friday, the film had already been struggling over the weekend to consistently stay above the ₹1 crore mark, and the Monday numbers have further deepened concerns over its theatrical run.

‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ Day 4 Box Office Update

On its fourth day in cinemas, the film’s earnings dipped significantly below the ₹1 crore benchmark. Early estimates from Sacnilk suggest that ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ collected around ₹65 lakh net on Day 4 from approximately 1,866 shows across India.

This marks a sharp 63.9% fall compared to Sunday’s collection of ₹1.80 crore. While a weekday drop is typically expected for most films after the weekend, the scale of decline has raised concerns as the film struggles to regain momentum after slipping under the ₹1 crore level.

With these figures, the film’s total estimated collection stands at around ₹5.86 crore gross and ₹4.90 crore net in India after four days of theatrical release.

‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ vs ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’

The film’s performance looks even weaker when compared to its box office rival ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’, directed by Imtiaz Ali. On Day 4, this film managed to earn approximately ₹1.25 crore net from around 2,139 shows, despite also witnessing a weekday dip.

However, its fall was relatively moderate at nearly 50% compared to Sunday’s ₹2.50 crore. This steadier hold has helped it maintain stronger overall momentum.

At present, ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ has accumulated about ₹8.10 crore gross and ₹6.75 crore net, clearly staying ahead of ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ in the box office race.

‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ vs ‘Haunted 3D’

Meanwhile, the top performer among the competing releases continues to be ‘Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past’. The horror-thriller maintained a stronger grip even on Monday, earning around ₹2.20 crore net.

Although it also saw a decline of about 38.9% from Sunday’s ₹3.60 crore, its weekday hold remains significantly better compared to the other two releases.

This consistent performance has helped ‘Haunted 3D’ dominate the box office among the current lineup of films.

Road Ahead for ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’

The upcoming weekdays are expected to be crucial for the Kangana Ranaut starrer. If the film continues to remain below the ₹1 crore mark, its chances of recovery at the box office may diminish further, making it difficult to significantly improve its overall lifetime earnings.

Set against the backdrop of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, the film had generated considerable pre-release buzz and also received political attention, including support from certain leaders and tax exemptions in some states. However, despite the initial hype, this backing has yet to translate into strong box office performance.
