Now we all know the story behind Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s rollicking love affair. Deepika was smitten by RK and got his initials inked on the nape of her neck. Sadly, their relationship ended but the decision of getting the tattoo remained. Although she got it altered, but the memories might never fade.

Coming back to her final red carpet walk at Cannes, the Padmaavat star opted for a shocking pink gown with a dramatic train.

It was her hair updo that gave away the missing tattoo. Fans who questioned the same need to calm down as it’s just good make up that has done its magic.

However, if we go back to her Cannes red carpet appearance last year, she sported the tattoo hassle free. We wonder why not this year.

All said and done, Deepika and Ranbir have moved on with their respective lives and still remain good friends. Rumours of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir dating are on the rise but the duo has been mum about it. On the work front, Deepika was supposed to start her shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s next with Irrfan Khan. However, the film is on hold due to Irrfan’s sudden health scare.
