Ranveer Singh's Latest Luxury Purchase: Ferrari 296 GTB After Dhurandhar Success

Ranveer Singh has been in the spotlight recently amid reports of a fallout with filmmaker Farhan Akhtar over his exit from Don 3. While discussions around the controversy continue, the actor grabbed attention for another reason after being spotted driving a brand-new luxury supercar in Mumbai.

Videos circulating on social media show Ranveer behind the wheel of his latest acquisition, a sleek black Ferrari 296 GTB. The clips quickly went viral, with fans and onlookers recognizing the actor as he cruised through the city streets. According to reports, the high-performance sports car carries a price tag of approximately ₹6.36 crore.

The Ferrari 296 GTB is said to be among the most expensive vehicles in Ranveer's already impressive collection. His luxury garage reportedly includes premium models such as the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, Aston Martin Rapide S, and Lamborghini Urus Pearl Capsule, among several other high-end automobiles.

The latest buzz around Ranveer comes in the wake of Dhurandhar's blockbuster success. Reports suggest that the actor was initially set to headline Don 3 alongside Kiara Advani but later stepped away from the project. Following his departure, Farhan Akhtar reportedly approached the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), claiming substantial financial losses due to the actor's exit. FWICE subsequently issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer before later revoking it.

Industry reports indicate that while Farhan allegedly held Ranveer responsible for leaving the film unexpectedly, the actor was reportedly unhappy with delays in the project's schedule and claims that another leading star had been considered for the role before Dhurandhar became a major success.

Amid the ongoing discussion, Ranveer received support from his father-in-law, former badminton champion Prakash Padukone, who praised Dhurandhar in an interview with The Indian Express. He described the film as well-made and lauded the performances, while noting that he personally felt the level of violence was slightly excessive.

Looking ahead, Ranveer is preparing for his next venture, Pralay, a zombie thriller that will be directed by Jai Mehta. The project marks another ambitious step in the actor's upcoming slate following the remarkable success of the Dhurandhar franchise.
