2 Delicious Paneer Recipe To Try For Dinner

# Shahi Paneer (Restaurant-Style)
Why it’s special: Rich, creamy, and mildly sweet—perfect for a festive or weekend dinner.
Ingredients:
200–250 g paneer (cubed)
2 onions (paste)
2 tomatoes (pureed)
10–12 cashews (soaked & ground)
2 tbsp fresh cream
1 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp oil
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
Whole spices: 1 bay leaf, 2 green cardamoms
Water as needed
Method:
Heat butter and oil, add bay leaf and cardamom.
Add onion paste and sauté till golden.
Mix in ginger-garlic paste, then tomato puree; cook till oil separates.
Add cashew paste, spices, and salt.
Add water for gravy consistency and simmer.
Add paneer cubes and cook for 5 minutes.
Finish with fresh cream and garam masala.
Serve with: Butter naan, kulcha, or jeera rice
# Paneer Tikka Masala
Why it’s special: Smoky paneer tikka cooked in a bold, spicy gravy—great for dinner parties.
Ingredients:
For marination:
200 g paneer (cubes)
½ cup thick curd
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp chaat masala
Salt to taste
For gravy:
2 tomatoes (pureed)
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
Fresh cream (optional)
Method:
Marinate paneer for 30 minutes and grill or shallow fry till golden.
Heat butter, add cumin seeds and onions; sauté till soft.
Add tomato puree and spices; cook till thick.
Add grilled paneer and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
Finish with cream for richness.
Serve with: Laccha paratha or butter roti
