Honor X80 Pro Max Launch Date Reveled, Arrives With 11,000 MAh Battery

Honor is gearing up to launch its next big-battery smartphone, the Honor X80 Pro Max, in China on June 22. The company has confirmed that the upcoming handset will pack a massive 11,000mAh battery, surpassing the 10,080mAh cell found in the Honor Power 2, which debuted earlier this year as Honor’s largest-battery smartphone.

The launch event is scheduled for June 22 at 7pm local time (4:30pm IST), with Honor also revealing key details about the device’s design, charging capabilities, and colour variants. The Honor X80 Pro Max will support 90W wired fast charging along with 27W reverse wired charging, allowing it to power other devices as well.

Teaser images show the smartphone sporting a flat rear panel with a circular camera module housing a single 50-megapixel Matrix AI Vision camera and an LED flash. The Honor logo is positioned at the centre of the lower rear panel, while the right edge accommodates the power button and volume rocker. A hole-punch cutout on the display will house the front-facing camera.

The Honor X80 Pro Max will be available in four colour options: Lightning Red, Moonlight White, Mystic Black, and Vibrant Orange. The smartphone is already open for pre-orders through Honor’s official online store in China.

According to recent reports, the handset is expected to feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 1,280 x 2,788-pixel resolution and could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 octa-core processor. Honor is also anticipated to introduce the standard Honor X80 model alongside the Pro Max variant.
