IOS 27 Has 3 More Features Coming In The Fall

Beyond the features Apple previewed at WWDC 2026, three additional iOS 27 capabilities are reportedly still in the pipeline. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his Power On newsletter, Apple is developing a new Apple Watch face, a redesigned and customizable Camera app, and broader third-party chatbot integration within Siri. Gurman noted that it remains unclear why these features were not showcased during the event, although some have already surfaced in the iOS 27 developer beta.

Gurman believes the new watch face could arrive alongside Apple’s next-generation smartwatch lineup this fall. Earlier reports suggested Apple may introduce a simplified version of the Modular Ultra watch face, currently exclusive to the Apple Watch Ultra, for use across other Apple Watch models. He also expects the revamped Camera app to debut with the anticipated iPhone 18 Pro launch later this year. While the feature is not yet available in the current iOS 27 developer beta, previous reports indicate it could allow users to customize which camera controls appear on-screen and where they are positioned.

Although Apple Intelligence took center stage at WWDC 2026, Apple is reportedly continuing work on expanding Siri’s chatbot capabilities. The planned feature would let users switch between Apple Intelligence and third-party AI models such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. At present, the iOS 27 developer beta supports integration only with ChatGPT, but Gurman suggests that more AI chatbot options are expected to be added in the future.
